We believe that children should be given opportunities which foster collaborative learning in order to achieve a successful outcome. To enable children to achieve this, we believe that they need to build positive relationships through understanding how their choices can benefit and affect others. Through listening and reflecting our children will be able to recognise the valuable contribution that others can make. We believe that by developing these skills the children will be better prepared for their future beyond Foxhills.
Within our EPIC curriculum, we will tailor opportunities for the children to work towards a common goal as a team. By becoming effective communicators, children will learn how to express themselves and reflect on the views of others in an honest and trustworthy environment.
Children will ultimately be organised learners who take responsibility for their actions and the actions of others. Their patience, consideration and respect for others will create a calm and purposeful atmosphere.
