When the doors of the schools closed for most children, on Monday 23rd March, each of us began a new and uncharted experience. Never before have we experienced such a phenomenon (and, hopefully, never will again).
We recognise that home-educating your child for a few weeks will be an exciting or, for some, challenging time and we want to help you as much as we can.
We have uploaded a wide range of activities and learning for your child to complete while they are off school. Please look inside your child's year group for more information. We have given a weekly overview of tasks for you to follow. Your child has been given a work book to record their learning in.
Help is at hand
Email addresses are provided within each year group page. Teachers will endeavour to check these regularly - though please note that this may be more difficult if they are working in school with children.
There are also a range of resources in the other pages listed below (PE support and Online Resources).
We would love to see some examples of EXCELLENT learning, so please do copy or photograph them and email them to us.
If you have any general queries not related to your child's learning, please contact Mr Shore or Mrs Bristow on FJSschoolclosure@foxhillsjuniorschool.co.uk
On behalf of all the team at Foxhills Junior School, we wish you the very best throughout this period. Our thoughts are with you all.
Andrew Shore - Headteacher
You can find specific learning activities and resources within each of the year groups (above).
