Aladdin Performance

"

Myself, Inas, Emily and Violet take part in Big Mouth Theatre Academy every Saturday at Hounsdown School.  We put on a performance every term and this term we did Aladdin.  In September we were given our parts and lines to learn.  I was the Genie, Violet was Aladdin, Emily was a villager and Inas was Wishy.  During November we were measured for our costumes and they were delivered to us a few weeks before our performance.  We did a dress rehearsal and then we were ready.

 

The place where we performed was Southampton General Hospital and we performed it to the poorly children who aren’t able to go home for Christmas.  We all got into our costumes and our make up was applied by Holly.  The script was hilarious; the audience laughed, booed, hissed and clapped.  Luckily it went very well and we cheered them all up and got them in the Christmas spirit.
