Books at Bedtime

On Thursday 7th December, 70 children joined the teachers for our winter Books at Bedtime event.

Children chose three different stories and then moved between classes to hear each read to them by a different member of staff.

As you will see from the pictures, the school was dark and the classes became magical places.

The night ended with hot chocolate (and marshmallows, for those who wanted them!) and a story from Mr Shore.

A huge thanks to Mrs Callister and Mrs White for organising the event and to Mr Ackland, Mrs Bailey, Mrs Bristow, Mrs Coombes, Mrs Datlen, Miss English, Miss Hogbourne, Mrs Kealey, Mrs McAllister, Mrs Shore, and Mr Williams for all giving up their evening to read with the children. On Thursday 7th December, nearly 70 children joined the teachers for our winter Books at Bedtime event.
