Another full day of activities...... once we had managed to wake up the children!
Following a breakfast of croissants, we hopped on the coach for a short drive and visited a French market. The meat and cheese stalls were untouched but the NY caps were very popular....
From there we explored the local Auchen hypermarket where the sweet aisle was heavily visited!
We then walked to the beach where we had some free time to eat our lunch. The day suddenly brightened up and we had glorious sunshine.
The afternoon was filled with archery, fencing and circus games/ skills. (Lots of great jugglers amongst the children!)
Dinner was eventful... a special course of fogs legs and snails was particularly exciting and many children found they actually liked them!
AND
We celebrated Niamh's birthday with a huge sing-song (... Happy Birthday)
Then.... bags were unpacked, party clothes put on, aftershave applied... the -d-i-s-c-o- had arrived!
The last treat of the day was a midnight (10.30) feast (snack) with all children together.
All quiet now.... ready to do it all again tomorrow!
See you all soon.
