Launching our new travel programme: Bike It!

Today we launched our new active travel to school programme: Bike It!

This programme aims to promote the use of sustainable travel methods when travelling to school and is developed by Sustrans, a national charity.

'Bike It Ray' joined us this morning to teach the children all about the scheme and promote cycling to and from school. The children were super enthusiastic and it was clear that they were excited about our future plans.

After the assembly, Ray also ran a scooter doctor session and checked over some of the scooters that were brought to school. He wasn't able to check all of them (there were hundreds!) but we will be running this again in the near future.

I am so excited that we are part of this scheme and cannot wait to reveal our plans for the future. Stay tuned!
