PUPIL VOICE VISIT PARLIAMENT

Each year, we take our Pupil Voice representatives to the Houses of Parliament to help them develop a better understanding of how the British democratic system of Government works.

8.30 am. Ready and excited at Ashurst Station.

10.20 Safe arrival in Waterloo

11.20 Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace

12.45 Arrive at Parliment education centre

1.00 The tour begins! We visited the chamber and listened to a discussion about the EU Withdrawal Bill (Clause 1 - rights of EU worker's post-Brexit).

2.30 A workshop about democracy and how the British electoral.system works

3:30 A visit to the gift shop

4:35 Safely on board the train and homeward bound
