The BIG BATTERY HUNT

Each year the UK throws away 20,000 tonnes of batteries. That is the equivalent weight of 4000 elephants! Sadly, most of this ends up landfill.

To help make a change, we have started a scheme that allows us to collect all the old batteries and send them off to be recycled. It is called the Big Battery Hunt, and we hope that all families will join us in helping reduce the number of batteries buried in the ground.

Simply find all the old batteries lying around at home and pop them into one of our collection boxes. The main collection box is in the front entrance - join the hunt and make a difference!
