Year 5/6 Lymington Tennis Competition

What an amazing day of tennis!

Eight of our year 5 and 6 children competed against 14 other teams from the New Forest area and we achieved some amazing results!

Foxhills A (Evan, Noah, Anya and Eliza) came second overall after winning all their matches bar one. The last game was against Orchard Junior School who only just beat us to the gold medal.

Foxhills B (Harry, Oliver, Jess and Ellen) were drawn into a tough group and competed really well. After fighting for every point, they came second in their group which was an amazing achievement!

I am so proud of the children! The support they gave each other was inspiring and I cannot wait to take them to their next competition at Totton on Wednesday 13th June.

That gold medal is calling...
