Year 6 Trp To The Natural History Museum
On Thursday 11th January, year 6 visited The Natural History Museum in London as part of their new project, Wow! Earth.
Before arriving at the museum, the children were treated to a scenic tour of London and managed to see famous landmarks such as Trafalgar Square, Queen Elizabeth Tower, the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye. Some children were even lucky enough the grab a glimpse of a royal convoy!
Whilst at the museum, the children visited the volcanoes and earthquakes section to find out more information for their project. They also got to feel what it would be like in an actual earthquake on a simulator! After lunch, the children also visited the dinosaurs, human biology and the creepy crawly sections.
The children behaved extremely well and we are so proud of how they represented Foxhills Junior School.
