Year 6 Viking Day!

The first day back at school is always eventful, but this year's saw a mass viking invasion!

 

Donning furs, war ink and the occasional axe, year 6 kicked off their new project in style. During the day, the children learnt about viking vocabulary, runes and how to make longships - or at least out of their old cereal boxes! They all looked fantastic and were super keen to dive straight into their new project.

 

'The Vikings are Coming!' will see the children develop their English, history and music skills by creating their own viking legend.
