Welcome to Foxhills Junior School, part of the Foxhills Federation!

At Foxhills, we know that education makes a difference.  It transforms lives and shapes futures, and effective primary provision should ensure children are happy, respectful, creative young people with an enthusiasm and thirst for life.  Our vision for the Federation is that all children acquire knowledge, emotional security and are  empowered to enable them to take advantage of opportunities, experiences and responsibilities in later life.  

Our vision is driven by our CLEAR values: CARE, LEARN, ENGAGE, ACHIEVE, REFLECT which shape attitudes and behaviour and underpin our ethos, curriculum and approach to teaching and learning.  By joining the Foxhills Federation, your child will learn to:

Our intentions for children are ambitious because every child has a right to achieve their full potential and it is the responsibility of all educators to make this a reality.  We achieve this by getting to know your child as an individual, whilst valuing and nurturing their idiosyncrasies.  We provide a fun and caring learning environment, driven by children's best interests.  We actively teach our children how to keep themselves safe and free from harm. 

Our curriculum is organised into exciting projects that engage and motivate children.  Our children are encouraged to be curious, to ask questions and contemplate ideas, and we provide extensive opportunities for enquiring, problem solving, innovation and challenge (E.P.I.C).  

We want children to be active members of social groups, empowered with purpose and direction to positively influence their community.  We provide opportunities to develop these skills through 'Red Force' and a variety of 'leadership awards', and we celebrate children's personal achievements, outside of school, via our 'Wall of Fame'.   

We work in close partnership with all of our families to enable every child to succeed.  Our 'learning showcases' enable you to share in your child's successes and achievements.  We have an open-door policy and encourage parents to talk about concerns or worries with school staff.  Our active PTA hold numerous fund-raising events throughout the school year which are very popular with children and their families.  By joining Foxhills, you will be part of a happy, lively and committed community.

Our children are fascinating and inspiring.  It is a privilege to work alongside them and watch them grow and learn.  The Foxhills team are passionate about ensuring that every child leaves our Federation achieving their very best and with happy memories.
